Bluegrass musician Bruce Jones has died.
Bruce Jones and his brother, Lee, formed The Jones Brothers Bluegrass Band in Stanly County in the early 1960s, adding the Log Cabin Boys in 1969.

The Jones Brothers played together for more than 50 years, before a stroke forced Bruce Jones to retire earlier this year.
Jones died Nov. 28, 2012, in Carolinas Medical Center Northeast in Concord, and his funeral will be held Sat., Dec. 1, in Midland.
