Meth Materials Discovered in Wadesboro

Police in Wadesboro say they found materials commonly used to make methamphetamine while searching a house on Morven Road yesterday. Sources say that officers started their investigation because the property owner called them to report suspicious activity, and police say the property owner was not involved. Charges are pending while authorities await the results of testing on the evidence they collected.

On January 1st, a meth lab was discovered near Lilesville Elementary School. Two men were arrested on felony drug charges in that case.
