Since its inception, the center has developed partnerships with local organizations to offer hands-on workshops and and to develop an indoor marketplace with local foods, crafts and other items.

The informational meeting is set for Tue., Feb. 5, at 3:00 p.m. at the Star Heritage Center on U.S. Hwy. 220 Alternate in Star. More information is available at 910-585-7067.
