Mount Gilead Mayor Announces Office Hours

After several weeks of searching for office space, Mount Gilead Mayor Patty Almond has decided to use the town library as her temporary office two days each week. Almond had wanted to set up a place where she could meet with the public, and now she has announced plans to be available eight hours each week to meet with local citizens.

The Mayor’s public office hours begin this Saturday, February 23, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the library on West Allenton Street, across from the Mount Gilead Town Hall. Going forward, the regular office hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each Friday and Saturday.
