Montgomery County Schools Superintendent Dale Ellis will host a second round of community meetings for the school year. The meetings are set for Wednesday and Thursday evenings at West and East Montgomery High Schools, respectively.
The “Community Area Advisory” meetings are intended to give parents, community members and concerned citizens an opportunity to provide school administrators with viewpoints and guidance on ongoing issues and strategic planning priorities.
Dr. Ellis said the school system hopes for “a great turnout at each community meeting,” and he described the meetings as “very informal and parent-friendly.”
“I want everyone to feel comfortable asking questions or making comments, which will help our district continue to improve,” said Ellis
The meetings are Wed., Apr. 10, at West Montgomery, and Thu., Apr. 11, at East Montgomery. Each meeting will begin with a free dinner at 5:30 p.m.
More information is available from the school system’s central office at 910-576-6511.
