Industry advocacy groups stage the day each year, which includes a sausage and bacon biscuit breakfast from the N.C. Pork Council, milk from the N.C. Dairy Promotion Committee, and a brisket lunch from the N.C. Cattlemen’s Association.

Teams of contestants from the State House and Senate compete in an annual milk chugging contest, and an ice cream social rounds out the day’s activities in Raleigh.

Events take place on the Halifax Mall in downtown Raleigh. The public is invited.
