We’re receiving reports of a police situation in Stanly County.

WBTV is reporting that a home invasion in Charlotte developed into a carjacking and police chase into Stanly and Anson Counties, with two scenes now being worked by authorities. WSOC reports that a chase led to a crash on U.S. Hwy. 52 at the Pee Dee River south of Norwood, and WBTV says someone is in custody there.

The second scene is closer to Albemarle on Hwy. 52, where WBTV says officers are looking for a possible suspect in connection with the carjacking that happened in Midland.
