“TroyFest” is set for Sat., June 29. It’s the 28th year of the annual festival, staged each year in the Montgomery County seat on the Saturday before the Fourth of July.
The parade will be followed by a street festival from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with more than 100 vendors and bluegrass music from Thickety Creek and The Crawley Creek Company. There will also be a “Kids Zone” with inflatables and water activities.
Following an afternoon break, the event moves to Lowe Warner Park on Page St. at 5:00 p.m. The Craig Woolard Band will play beach music at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Mayor’s ice cream giveaway at 7:00 p.m. and a fireworks display at 9:15 p.m.
To reduce congestion around the park, shuttle buses will be available at a number of locations to take people to and from the park.
