Norwood School to host centennial event

Folks in Norwood are gearing up to celebrate their school’s 100th anniversary.

Students of Norwood Elementary School will gather for a special program Fri., Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. in the gymnatorium, which is the oldest building still remaining on the campus.

Festivities continue Sat., Sept. 21, with a 100-year program at 1 p.m. including Norwood High School graduates and other attendees of Norwood School.

All former Norwood School students and encouraged to attend, and everyone is invited. Former students are asked to wear school or class colors.

The school PTO will also host a barbecue starting at 11 a.m. Saturday.
