Other presentations and performances will be featured throughout the park, with schedules posted at zoo entrances. The anniversary kickoff event will take place this weekend, and the feature exhibits will remain available throughout the year.

The zoo will begin its summer hours this weekend: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. More information about the North Carolina Zoo is available at, or by phone at 1-800-488-0444.
