It’s the last full day of campaigning before tomorrow’s primary elections in North Carolina.
The North Carolina State Board of Elections says more than 258,000 voters across the state voted during the one-stop early voting period. Combined with about 9,500 absentee ballots also cast in advance, 4.1% of the state’s 6.5-million registered voters have already gone to the polls.
Regular polling places will be open tomorrow from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and questions about voting in Montgomery County can be directed to the Board of Elections office at 910-572-2024.
A full list of candidates in races affecting the county can be seen on WMTG’s “Decision 2014” page.
WMTG will have live coverage of primary election results starting at the close of the polls tomorrow (May 6) at 7:30 p.m. The coverage can be heard on the air and online, and updates will be posted at http://www.wmtg.org and through Facebook and Twitter.
