Town Creek to offer scouting badge workshop

This Saturday, Town Creek Indian Mound will host a workshop for Boy Scouts interested in completing requirements to achieve the Indian Lore Merit Badge. Activities during the workshop will include guided tours of the site, hunting tool demonstrations, hands-on-craft activities and American Indian games.

All of the badge requirements will be covered, except for specific activities which must be completed at council meetings.

There is a participation fee, and pre-registration is required. Camping is also offered, and information is available from Town Creek Indian Mound at 910-439-6802.
