Looking for something to do this Independence Day? Here are some things going on in the region….
- In Stanly County, the Town of Oakboro continues its 56th annual Fourth of July celebration with activities all day today, and The Entertainers on stage tonight at 8:30. Oakboro’s celebration also continues Sat., Jul. 5, with fireworks tonight and tomorrow night at 11:30. Click here to see the full schedule in an earlier article.
- In Richmond County, the Town of Hamlet’s family fun festival is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. today, with live music, food and activities for kids, with fireworks to close. The event takes place around the depot and Main St. Park in Hamlet.
- In Moore County, the Town of Aberdeen will host the “Celebrate America’s Birthday” celebration, today from 5:30 p.m. until, at the Aberdeen Lake Park. Click here for more information.
- In Randolph County, the City of Archdale will host “4th of July at Creekside Park”, today from 4 to 10 p.m., at Creekside Park, 214 Park Dr. Click here for more information.
