State tourism statistics for 2013 were released Aug. 15, and the numbers reveal some growth in Montgomery County.

The state’s Tourism Division tracks the details, which were shared Monday by county tourism director Tricia Norris Webb.

The figures showed domestic tourism in Montgomery County generated an economic impact of $25.58 million, up nearly 2.7% from 2012. About 110 jobs in the county were said to be directly attributable to tourism, which also boosted state and local tax revenues by about $3.7 million.
