130502_WMTG_Community_Calendar— High school football tonight: West Montgomery at Marvin Ridge, and East Montgomery at home versus Union Pines. Games start at 7:30 p.m.

— Montgomery Cooperative Extension will host its annual youth livestock show and agriculture fair Saturday at the Montgomery County Agricultural Center on Glen Rd. in Troy. It’s open to the public and will start at 10 a.m. Details are available at 910-576-6011.

— Mayberry Nights will visit the Garner Center in Troy tomorrow. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for fund raising events, and the show will start at 7 p.m. It’s presented by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and proceeds will benefit the DARE program. Details and tickets at 910-572-1313.

— The Cedar Plantation’s free back-to-school party will feature four Christian rock and hip-hop musicians Saturday night. The event is for all local youth and will start at 6 p.m. tomorrow at The Cedar, 518 N. Main St. in Troy. Information at 910-220-1384.

— Travis Frye and Blue Mountain Bluegrass will play at the Mount Gilead Music Barn this weekend. Showtime is Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
