Four arrested in Mount Gilead drive-by shooting

Four young men were arrested Tuesday in connection with an alleged drive-by shooting last week in Mount Gilead.

The Montgomery Herald reports that Trent Starnes, Roberto McIntyre, Jr., Qagennings Luck and Shauqan McRae were taken into custody and charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Shots were said to have been fired at 16-year-old Joseph Little last Friday morning as he walking along N. Main St. near the railroad bridge. Police told media that two shots were fired, but Little escaped injury by jumping into an area of undergrowth on the side of the road.
