Early voting turnout nearing 10% in Montgomery County

More than 9% of Montgomery County’s registered voters have already cast their ballots in this fall’s general election.

130705_Vote_ButtonAs of Oct. 30, 1,394 county voters (9.34%) had used one-stop early voting to register their choices. There are currently 14,924 registered voters in Montgomery County.

Sat., Nov. 1, is the last day of early day voting in North Carolina. Locally, the final early voting session will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Troy.

Regular polling places will be open Tue., Nov. 4, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
