Crews complete water line repairs on Hwy. 109

Montgomery County utility crews finished work this week on a water line repair on Hwy. 109 near the Unilin entrance just north of Mount Gilead.

According to a report issued by a county consultant, the problem occurred where the Unilin plant connects to the 24-inch main water line. The county placed an emergency order for an improved valve, and the faulty connection was replaced.
